Yes there is, however, like most of the island coverage is touch and go depending where you are. The waldorf and Hilten tend to get coverage in spots and the beach is pretty much a sure thing.
Is it possible to charge cell phones, I-pads or tablets?
Currently nothing is provided for charging devices and you will need to bring a car charger or charging pack with you. Or better yet… unplug!
Is there hot running water?
There is no running hot water. Each cabin has a rain barrel which supplies the kitchen sink with cold water (non-potable) for dishes. Water can be warmed on the wood stove or propane range as needed.
For showers the Hilten and Waldorf cabins are equipped with on demand propane showers. However this feature is no available during sub zero temperatures in the winter. For back top a solar shower bag heats up nice on the deck, or if the sun isn’t co-operating water can be warmed up inside.
The Agate currently only has solar shower bag access.
Is there a fridge?
No there is not. Each cabin is supplied with an ice box (you will need to supply your own ice).
